Wave action on the rocks at Cape Kiwanda north side. There used to be a large arch over where I was standing. It has crashed and the rocks in the lower portion of the photo once were high above.

Where the arch once was located.
first a small cave 40+ years ago. Then it opened up into a beautiful arch. The erosion took the arch down. And now the walls are crumbling and dropping large bolders.

This was just a small narrow opening two years ago. It has eroded rapidly and now you can see the next set of rocks behind this one. Notice the crack extending up from the holw.
